” You may have noticed, by the way, that here in America we have never had any philosophers, and that’s a good thing! Great nations don’t have philosophers; they have other things to do. They’re busy doing serious work. They don’t have time for daydreaming or producing brain juice! But that’s not what we’re here to talk about today.
No one can, and no one ever will, replace Elon. Do you realize what we managed to accomplish with Elon in just a few months? We tamed history—that savage beast, that predator—and made it so docile that it came to eat from our hands!
We ended a war! A war! That’s no small thing! We took down some big bad guys and made sure they could no longer hurt humanity or wreak havoc! And we did it not with an army three million strong, but the two of us—the two of us alone!
Elon and me! Two men living on burgers and Coca-Cola!
That’s America! Two men riding their horses, tipping their hats back, checking the pistols hanging from their belts, and riding off into the unknown! ”

Philippe Claudel:
born on February 2, 1962, is a French writer, novelist, filmmaker, and university professor. He taught literature at the University of Lorraine in Nancy. He is regarded as one of France’s leading contemporary literary voices, with works distinguished by their ability to combine profound human storytelling with complex existential and philosophical questions.
His novels often begin with a murder, but rather than treating it as a conventional crime story, Claudel uses it as a gateway into the depths of the human psyche and an exploration of the fractures within society. His writing is marked by its lyrical intensity, contemplative
style, and poetic sensibility, as well as its sustained engagement with themes of memory, guilt, and justice. Among his most notable works are Grey Souls, The Brodeck Report, The Dusk, and Monsieur Linh and His Child.
